The inaugural Mayo Clinic Laparoscopic Transcystic Common Bile Duct Exploration Symposium will provide general surgeons the knowledge and hands on skills to perform minimally invasive transcystic, laparoscopic, and robotic common bile duct explorations. This unique skills-focused course will emphasize on the different approaches and techniques for common bile duct stone extraction.

  • Discuss the evidence supporting laparoscopic common bile duct explorations
  • Describe the different approaches and techniques used to extract common bile duct stones
  • Identify when to call for help and how to approach stones in a multidisciplinary strategy
  • Demonstrate techniques used to extract common bile duct stones.
