Cadaver Lab - Simulation Center

The cadaveric surgery workshop is a 3-hour workshop that will utilize fresh cadavers and simulation models for surgical coaching.  Participants will either choose laparoscopic surgery or vaginal surgery coaching.  The laparoscopic surgery group will perform retroperitoneal dissection, repair of injuries, suturing, and hysterectomy depending on learning preferences.  The vaginal surgery group will perform a vaginal hysterectomy simulation and utilize the cadaver for cystotomy repair.  Both the vaginal surgery and laparoscopic surgery group will have the opportunity to also participate in cystoscopy and ureteral stent placement station.

Workshop limited to 8 attendees.
