Laparoscopic Suturing Workshop 2020

The laparoscopic suturing workshop uses simulation models designed specifically for gynecologists to teach key steps in laparoscopic suturing. It will demonstrate specific exercises that will offer a stepwise approach to learning this key component of laparoscopic surgery so that the participants may continue to practice and improve. The goal is for all participants to be proficient at suturing a vaginal cuff with a barbed suture.  Once proficiency is met, the principles of intracorporeal and extracorporeal suturing will be introduced.  Suturing trainers will be available throughout the week to practice skills developed during the workshop.
