Multiple Gynecologic Procedure Skills Stations - Contained Morcellation, Outpatient Emergencies, and More (Monday 3:30-5:30 pm)

During Day 1 of Multiple Gynecologic Procedure Skills Stations, participants will learn through hands-on experience about Contained Morcellation,  Outpatient Emergencies, and More.

Participants in the workshop will learn to quickly place a specimen into a containment bag, and manually morcellate the specimen while minimizing spillage. You will be able to compare the multiple types of containment bags to choose what is the most feasible for your personal practice. Also, for removal of the adnexal mass, you will learn how to discern potentially malignant masses to avoid morcellation in those cases.

While uncommon, emergencies encountered during office-based procedures can lead to significant morbidity if the clinical team is caught unprepared. After this session you will be able to recognize and manage office-based emergencies including the more common vasovagal episode, and the rare cases of anaphylaxis or lidocaine toxicity.

You will have the opportunity to move through all stations or select ones that match your practice.  

Enroll early as enrollment is limited to 20.  This workshop will be held at the resort.
