The NAMS Menopause 101 Course consists of core topics for menopause management given by international experts from The North American Menopause Society. This optional course is scheduled for one afternoon of the Transforming Women's Health 2023.

The CME credits provided by Mayo Clinic School of Continuous Professional Development for this offering of The North American Menopause Society (NAMS) Menopause 101 Course will count toward the 15 hours of CME required by NAMS for NCMP recredentialing. The Menopause 101 course provides healthcare professionals with basic information on menopause management.

Target Audience

This activity is appropriate for healthcare professionals including physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, nurses and others with an interest in women’s health.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  1. Review the core issues surrounding menopause management, including cardiovascular, bone, and sexual health, hormone therapy use and weight management.
