Mayo Clinic's Transforming Women's Health course is designed to assist healthcare professionals in improving the care of women based on emerging scientific and clinical evidence related to medical conditions that are unique to women, occur more frequently in women or present differently in women. The course includes presentations from key women's health specialty and subspecialty disciplines including obstetrics and gynecology, reproductive medicine, sexual health, menopausal medicine, cardiology, endocrinology, internal medicine, and preventive medicine.
Target Audience
This activity is appropriate for healthcare professionals including physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, nurses, and others with an interest in women’s health.
Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:
- Summarize updates in the diagnosis and treatment of PCOS
- Appraise updated guidelines for the management of genitourinary syndrome of menopause
- Interpret the various screening options for cervical cancer
