Mayo Clinic's Transforming Women's Health course is designed to assist healthcare professionals in improving the care of women based on emerging scientific and clinical evidence related to medical conditions that are unique to women, occur more frequently in women or present differently in women. The course includes presentations from key women's health specialty and subspecialty disciplines including gynecology, reproductive medicine, breast health, sexual health, menopausal medicine, cardiology, endocrinology, internal medicine, and preventive medicine.

Target Audience
This activity is appropriate for healthcare professionals including physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, nurses, and others with an interest in women’s health.

- Summarize current evidence-based guidelines for breast cancer screening, including modality selection and population-specific considerations (e.g., age, risk level, and density).
- Apply clinical decision-making tools to assess osteoporosis risk and initiate appropriate diagnostic evaluation and treatment in menopausal women.
- Analyze the benefits and risks of hormone therapy and non-hormonal options for managing menopause symptoms, considering individual patient profiles and comorbidities.
