The 47th Annual Mayo Clinic Seminar for Nurse Anesthetists offers the latest evidence-based updates in today’s standard of anesthesia care. Expert Mayo Clinic faculty provide an overview of the most recent advances in anesthesiology management, pharmacology and wellness within the anesthesia community. Attendees leave with a better understanding of new research and current guidelines that are immediately applicable to clinical practice.

Poster Session
Student Registered Nurse Anesthetists and CRNAs will disseminate their doctoral scholarly projects through poster presentations. Presenters will be available to talk through their projects and answer questions. Come learn about these amazing projects while networking with conference attendees and presenters at the beautiful Rochester Hilton.

Target Audience

This course is designed to provide an overview of the most recent advances in anesthesiology management, pharmacology and wellness among healthcare professionals of the perioperative team, including:  CRNAs, physician anesthesiologists, RNs, PAs, and NPs.   

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Identify three anesthetic implications when caring for patients in non-operating room environments.
  • Discuss three ways anesthesia providers engage in multidisciplinary education to enhance growth of multidisciplinary team members.
  • Name three techniques to enhance well-being and decrease burnout in today’s dynamic, high demanding work environments.
