Thank you for your interest in the Mayo Clinic Symposium on Anesthesia and Perioperative Medicine CME course, scheduled for April 4-6, 2024, at One Ocean Resort & Spa in Atlantic Beach, Florida. Unfortunately, we are writing to inform you that we have come to the difficult decision to cancel the in-person option for this conference. This decision was not made lightly but the low registration numbers have convinced us that this is the best option at this time. We hope that you will be able to join us virtually for a livestream of the same course, and we sincerely apologize for any scheduling and travel related inconveniences that this may have caused. 

Target Audience

This course is designed for anesthesiologists, nurse anesthetists, anesthesia techs, registered nurses, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Discuss patient management within the context of a preoperative, intraoperative and postoperative continuum of care
  • Review clinical decision making associated with complex surgical cases
  • Examine aspects of perioperative management in ambulatory and non-operating room settings
  • Discuss new surgical techniques and multidisciplinary perioperative pathways being utilized at Mayo Clinic
