    October 5 - 9, 2026 - Mayo Clinic - Rochester, Minnesota Mayo Clinic’s Microvascular Surgery Skills Training Course is a five-day program focused on skill development in the use of microvascular surgical techniques. Limited to four attendees per session, the course allows each attendee to receive extensive, individualized training. The instruction incorporates demonstrations, microvascular skills practice and detailed handouts. Attendees will work with the course instructor to schedule a week that is both convenient and well-suited to individual skills.

    October 6 - 9, 2026 - ASU Health Futures Center - Phoenix, Arizona This course offers Live (in-person) and Livestream (virtual) attendance options This is the ninth offering of this intensive that gives participants a kind and careful framework for considering the provision of healthcare for patients with chronic conditions. Both minimally disruptive medicine (MDM) and shared decision making (SDM) are heavily discussed during the course giving participants conceptual and practical knowledge of the topics. The course is divided into brief lectures and interactive workshops. Lectures provide a conceptual overview of MDM and SDM including Mayo Clinic’s most recent research. Interactive workshops provide participants with tools that may be applied to individual practice and healthcare or research teams. Workshops provide space for conversations to discuss further developing MDM and SDM and implementing MDM and SDM tools and concepts into clinical practice.
