Mayo Clinic's 7th Annual Multidisciplinary Cutaneous Oncology Symposium in Orlando, Florida is a two-day CME course focused on the latest topics in cutaneous oncology covering the fields of dermatology, surgical oncology, radiation oncology and medical oncology. The goal of this symposium is to discuss the available evidence of these topics to assist in making the most informed decisions.

In addition, numerous presentations and discussions will highlight current and new advances in therapeutic treatments for both melanoma and non-melanoma skin cancers, especially, basal cell, squamous cell and Merkel cell carcinoma.

Target Audience

This course is designed for physicians and advanced practice providers in dermatology, surgical oncology, medical oncology, plastic surgery, radiation oncology, head and neck surgery, internal medicine and family medicine.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Discuss the recent advances in the prevention and diagnosis of cutaneous malignancies, with emphasis on molecular technologies. 
  • Describe the multidisciplinary approach to melanoma and common non-melanoma skin cancers incorporating the latest evidence on contemporary treatments.
  • Summarize the latest methods on the diagnosis and treatment of rare cutaneous malignancies.
  • Summarize the latest methods on the diagnosis and treatment of non-skin sites of melanoma.

Rooms are reserved for attendees and their guests at the group rate starting at $289 per night plus applicable fees and taxes. In order to receive the special rate, reservations must be made before the room block sells out or before the expiration date of August 31, 2023, whichever comes first.
