Topics include emerging diagnostic schemes, chronic pain, imaging, and latest treatment approaches. Attendees gain practical tools to address diagnostic uncertainty and deliver personalized, evidence-based care.

Target Audience

This course is designed for physicians, nurses, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, residents, fellows and allied health professionals involved in rheumatology care.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Differentiate undifferentiated inflammatory arthritis from related mimicking conditions using clinical and diagnostic findings.
  • Apply rheumatoid arthritis risk factors to support diagnostic evaluation and risk stratification.
  • Evaluate evidence-based management strategies for crystalline arthritis and gout.
  • Evaluate evidence-based management strategies for ANCA-associated vasculitis, giant cell arteritis, and polymyalgia rheumatica.
  • Incorporate biologic therapies into treatment plans based on disease characteristics and patient-specific factors.
  • Incorporate small molecule and emerging therapies into treatment plans for patients with rheumatic diseases.
  • Develop management strategies for systemic lupus erythematosus and systemic sclerosis.
  • Develop management strategies for myositis and SARD-associated interstitial lung disease.
  • Interpret imaging, laboratory, dermatologic, ophthalmologic, and musculoskeletal findings to improve diagnostic accuracy and guide patient-centered care.
