Mayo Clinic’s Urgent Care Updates course equips acute and urgent care providers with the most up-to-date, evidence-based recommendations across key medical specialties relevant to the urgent care setting. Designed for immediate clinical application, the course features high-yield lectures, interactive panel discussions, and engaging roundtable sessions—offering valuable opportunities to connect with expert faculty and peers.

Target Audience

This course is designed for physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, and nurses in primary care, emergency medicine, and urgent care.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Discuss the evaluation and management of sports-related concussions
  • Determine key elements to mastering orthopedic exam skills
  • Describe different management techniques of dislocated joints
  • Identify common ECG abnormalities
  • Formulate a technique to reading chest x-rays
