The Mayo Clinic International Hospital Internal Medicine Conference focuses on advancements in hospital medicine. Renowned Mayo Clinic experts will deliver presentations on cutting-edge research, emerging trends, and updates in clinical practice related to hospital medicine that can be readily integrated into daily clinical practice. The conference aims to familiarize clinicians with the clinical reach and expertise of hospitalists in managing complex patients within the hospital setting.
Additional lectures aim to provide an overview of hospital and internal medicine with particular focus on the field’s success in improving quality of care and patient outcomes and optimizing hospital operations. These lectures help to promote the field of hospital medicine internationally and provide a framework for establishing successful hospital medicine programs outside of the United States.
A Point of Care Ultrasound (POCUS) workshop is offered as a supplement to the main lectures for those interested in mastering the required skills for the safe and appropriate use of POCUS in their everyday practice.

Target Audience
This course is designed for inpatient care providers including physicians, residents, fellows, medical students, healthcare executives and advanced practice providers (physician assistants, nurse practitioners). It is particularly relevant for those in specialties like internal medicine and family practice, where the focus is on the care of inpatients.
Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:
- POCUS Workshop: Acquire practical experience in point-of-care ultrasound and discuss its clinical benefits.

Cancellation policy:
- From August 8, 2025, to the arrival day, including no-shows and early departures, any cancellation will incur a penalty of 100% of the entire cancelled booking portion, charged directly to the client’s credit card.
- Full payment will be charged to the credit card at the time of booking from August 8, 2025, onwards.
- Deposits are non-refundable and non-changeable.
All travel and lodging expenses are the sole responsibility of the individual registrant.
Travel
