NPs and PAs play a vital role in the care of hospitalized patients. This conference focuses on providing the most up-to-date, evidence-based guidelines and treatment pathways necessary to optimally care for hospitalized patients. Content is applicable to physicians, NPs, PAs, pharmacists, advanced practice nurses and RNs, from novice to experienced.

 

Target Audience

This course is designed for hospitalists, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, advance practice nurses, registered nurses, allied health professionals, physicians and residents.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Review strategies to navigate complex ethical dilemmas in hospitalized patients.
  • Explain the most recent guidelines for the evaluation of angina in hospitalized patients.
  • Explore the variety of renal diseases in the hospital setting.
  • Discuss the evaluation and management of patients with thrombocytopenia
