Target Audience
This workshop is for hospitalists, internists, family medicine physicians, sub-specialists, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, and many others who practice in or have a special interest in topics specific to hosptial internal medicine.
Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:
- Apply evidence-based approaches to complex inpatient cases in anticoagulation, gastroenterology, and infectious diseases
- Use patient-centered communication strategies to manage care decisions when patients decline recommended treatment
