Mayo Clinic Telehealth in Rheumatology Education Series
This education series aims to provide learners with strategies on how best to use telehealth in many aspects of complex care for rheumatological conditions. This series will focus on the required set-up for a successful telehealth visit, current practices, opportunities, and challenges. Program will feature interactive sessions using multiple delivery methods. Specific topics of focus will include the impact of telemedicine in patient outcomes, gaps and opportunities in delivering telehealth care, incorporation of telemedicine in the care of complex rheumatological conditions including longitudinal care, assisted visits, and electronic consultations, and technological options for the underserved population and resource limited settings.
