The 22 Annual Mayo Clinic Nicotine Dependence Conference focuses on opportunities for enhancing a connection with patients provided by social media, the electronic health record, cell phones and mobile technology, and effective implementation of communication strategies.  Updates are provided on behavioral counseling and pharmacotherapy treatment.  Experts from other settings as well as Mayo experts help participants consider how to build strategies for improved connections with patients into their work.  Additionally, there is ample opportunity for interaction with faculty and networking with Mayo Clinic staff and conference attendees.
