Renowned pathologists, Dr. David G. Hicks, expert in breast pathology, and Dr. Jesse McKenney, expert in genitourinary pathology, join an elite roster of speakers for this eighth annual 2.5-day general surgical pathology course. This course covers a broad range of subjects in diagnostic pathology including, but not limited to, breast, genitourinary, gynecologic, gastrointestinal, thoracic, head & neck, soft tissue, dermatopathology, cytopathology, and hematopathology. Presentations are geared towards the general surgical pathologist to include common diagnostic challenges, need-to-know updates, and emerging issues. Attendee participation is encouraged via an audience response system and engaging case reviews including interactive sessions using digital pathology.

Target Audience
This course is designed for pathologists, pathologist assistants, pathology fellows and residents, and allied health staff with an interest in diagnostic pathology as well as surgeons and oncologists with an interest in new pathologic staging criteria.
Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:
- Identify histologic findings associated with underlying adverse drug reactions in the lung.
- Associate specific drugs and drug classes as well as underlying disease processes that can have pulmonary manifestations.
- Evaluate and interpret complex breast pathology cases.
- Identify advanced skills in the histopathological assessment of donor renal tissues.
- Integrate molecular and genetic information into the evaluation of gastrointestinal pathology.
