This course covers advanced topics in neuro-oncology, offering a review of advances in diagnosis and treatment of individuals with nervous system tumors. The course covers the latest advances in neurosurgery, radiation oncology, neurology, and medical oncology, discussing novel therapeutic approaches that are transforming clinical practice with personalized treatments.

Learning Objectives

  • Discuss novel therapeutics for treatment of primary CNS tumors. 
  • Discuss novel therapeutics for tumor-predisposing conditions wit nervous system involvement. 
  • Discuss state-of-the-art diagnostic and therapeutic options for malignant CNS tumors. 
  • Evaluate the impact of molecular features on tumor behavior, therapeutic selection, and response to therapy. 
  • Recognize the value of a multidisciplinary approach to patients with CNS tumors.
