This course covers advanced topics in neuro-oncology, offering a review of advances in diagnosis and treatment of individuals with nervous system tumors. The course covers the latest advances in neurosurgery, radiation oncology, neurology, and medical oncology, discussing novel therapeutic approaches that are transforming clinical practice with personalized treatments.
Abstract Submissions
As part of the Mayo Clinic Neuro-Oncology Summit, a Poster Session for presentation of original research and challenging cases dedicated to spine-related topics will be held at this meeting.
Accepted abstract recipients will be chosen from all abstracts received by the submission deadline. Registration is required for all accepted poster presenters. For further information email sanchez.anna2@mayo.edu

Target Audience
This course is designed for Physicians, Physician Assistants, Nurse Practitioners, and Residents interested in novel therapeutic strategies for improving care for all individuals with nervous system tumors.
Learning Objectives
Upon completion of the course, learners should be able to:
- Discuss novel therapeutics for treatment of primary CNS tumors.
- Discuss novel therapeutics for tumor-predisposing conditions with nervous system involvement.
- Discuss state-of-the-art diagnostic and therapeutic options for malignant CNS tumors.
- Evaluate the impact of molecular features on tumor behavior, therapeutic selection, and response to therapy.
- Recognize the value of a multidisciplinary approach to patients with CNS tumors.
