The Epic User Re-Boot is an intense, focused, and immersive experience. It is developed by Mayo Clinic providers, taught by Mayo Clinic Providers, and focuses on Mayo Clinic providers. It focuses on efficiency rather than function. This course will illuminate the skills and configurations required to run your clinic as efficiently as possible. After describing the reasoning for the workflow recommendations, we will hardwire each build or skill with a Learning Lab experience. This lets you learn by task repetition, individualized debunking, and mindful personnel reconfiguration. Topics include In Basket, Chart Review, Documentation (including Fluency Direct), Order Entry and more!

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this course, the learner should be able to:

  • Optimize column and action bar set-up. 
  • Learn to quickly find information within In Basket. 
  • Configure and use QuickActions. 
  • Understand principles of messaging and non-visit care encounters in Plummer Chart. 
  • Understand Results management tools and when to use them
