ForwardOncology Nursing Core Curriculum: Cancer Concepts II

This course will provide an introduction to bladder, testicular, kidney, skin, and gynecological cancers. Learners will gain an understanding about cancer staging, and treatment goals specific to these cancer types. The course also delves into the principles of pharmacology in cancer care, focusing on pain management and supportive care. Additionally, it introduces the topic of cancer survivorship.
Target Audience
This CNE course is designed for nurses in hematology/oncology or who are interested in the specialty.
Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:
- Describe staging, management and long term concerns of bladder, testicular, kidney, skin and gynecological cancers
- Outline pharmacology principles of cancer patient care, including pain management and supportive care
- Identify survivorship concerns for cancer patients

If the cancellation is made prior to the start of the activity, a refund less an administration fee of $25 will be issued. If the cancellation is made after the start of the activity, no refund will be issued. All refunds will be made using the same method as the original payment.
