Palliative Care 2025 Online CNE Nursing Conference

This palliative care conference will provide focused education on key topics in palliative care, including the transition of pediatric palliative care to adult services, effective strategies for conducting family meetings, and addressing PTSD in patients with serious illness. Sessions will explore the development of end-of-life educational programs using the ELNEC curriculum, the integration of spirituality, dignity therapy, and artificial intelligence in care, and current updates and controversies in pharmacologic management—specifically around psychedelics, sedatives, and cannabinoids, as well as substance use disorder. Additional sessions will highlight the role of the humanities in medicine through storytelling, as well as integrative approaches such as yoga for grief and virtual reality for distraction and pain management.
