This online course provides an overview of how nurses and healthcare organizations can utilize different social media platforms to engage with staff, recruit, enhance awareness of brand, and much more.

Target Audience

This nursing course is designed for nurses and other healthcare professionals in all patient care settings.

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to: 

  • Demonstrate the use of social media as a tool to reach target audience.

  • Recognize the differences in social media platform for the learner to synthesize.

  • Identify opportunities within your own organization to leverage social media use and highlight the brand, people or messages.
