Participants in the skills portion of the 2025 Mayo Clinic “Teach the Teachers” Elbow Course will have the opportunity to practice several arthroscopic elbow procedures under the guidance of our guest speaker, Dr. Colozza, our Mayo Clinic Faculty and dedicated elbow arthroscopy experts at every station to facilitate the procedures. Procedures will include extensive arthroscopic elbow debridement, arthroscopically assisted ligament imbrication and fracture fixation, and arthroscopic management of osteochondral defects. Our Facilities provide high-quality cadaveric specimens as well as state of the art arthroscopic equipment and instrumentation to allow all participants to improve their arthroscopic elbow skills.
Target Audience
This live and livestream course is open to physicians, residents, fellows, physician assistants and physical therapists interested in advanced elbow surgery.
Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:
- Develop skills to be able to perform arthroscopic elbow surgery in elbows with complex or distorted anatomy.
- Identify the nuances of complex elbow and forearm contracture release.
- Recognize skills for arthroscopically assisted fracture fixation for unstable elbows.
