This course highlights pain conditions across multiple disciplines to improve pain control and patient outcomes. The course includes a review of the evaluation and treatment of common pain syndromes, such as spine pain, neuropathic pain, headache, fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue syndrome, and arthritic pains.
Target Audience
This course is designed for physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, nurses, residents, fellows, and allied health professionals in primary care and family medicine.
Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:
- Summarize evidence-based clinical management of common chronic pain diagnoses.
- Review strategies to address important biopsychosocial factors that contribute to chronic pain manifestation.
- Describe clinical approaches that enhance interactions with patients suffering from chronic pain.
- Discuss the association between chronic pain and various modifiable lifestyle factors.

Due to the hotel location, Uber and Lyft are not easily available and should not be relied upon for departures, however, the hotel concierge team can assist with individual taxi and care service bookings.
