Case presentations, Discussion and Question and Answer Session with Faculty and Audience, as well as a buffet dinner.

Challenging wound care cases will be presented and discussed the evening of February 29, 2024. The purpose of the case presentations will be to enhance an open and transparent educational opportunity for each of the attendees to learn approaches to various wound care diagnostic and treatment pathways. The discussions will be based upon peer reviewed published data and clinical expertise. This will be an open forum style question and answer format led by the Wound Symposium organizers and faculty.

Please feel free to submit a case presentation abstract (300 words or less, no photos or references to products or devices in the abstract submissions), that would be a 5-10 minute case presentation with accompanying up to 5 powerpoint slides.

Case abstracts are due by January 15, 2024, 5:00 p.m. CST. The organizing committee will review each submitted case presentation and submitters will be notified by February 1, 2024 of a decision. Final PowerPoint presentations (5 slides maximum) are due by February 14, 2024. We anticipate accepting up to 8 cases for presentation.

Target Audience

This multidisciplinary course is intended for healthcare providers who care for patients with wounds. Disciplines include physicians, pedorthists, podiatrists, advanced practice providers (NP/PA), WOC, CNS, RN, LPN, physical therapists, dietitians, medical trainees (medical students, residents, fellows, etc.) and others who care for patients with wounds.
