DESCRIPTION
This activity is offered every Wednesday, noon - 1:00 p.m.  

Grand Rounds are the highest scholarly and academic activity in our department.  Presentations are focused on research, reviews, and innovative ideas in both psychiatry and psychology.  Speakers possess a national reputation or are active participants in critical clinical, research, and educational endeavors that we have a Mayo or we wish to develop.

TARGET AUDIENCE
The target audience is multidisciplinary consisting of physicians, psychologists, psychiatry and psychology trainees, advanced practice providers, mid-level health care providers, psychiatric nursing staff, social workers, and allied health providers.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES
1) Recognize innovative ideas presented by internal and external colleagues to demonstrate familiarity with current literature, excellence of clinical performance, and translate to current clinical and therapy procedures.
2) Cite and/or apply updates or cutting-edge research initiatives in all areas of psychiatry, psychology, and other mental health disciplines.
