Target Audience

This course is designed for physicians, nurse practitioners and physicians assistants who are involved in the management of psychiatric problems across all care settings.

Learning Objectives

Upon conclusion of this program, participants should be able to:

  • Review treatments for bipolar depression
  • Evaluate the role of antidepressants in bipolar disorder
  • How best to integrate evidence base and clinical presentation (i.e. comorbidity) to best individualize treatment
  • Evaluate pharmacotherapy for manic episodes
