This webinar discusses the role of radiology in pediatric tuberculosis, including characteristics of a normal pediatric chest x-ray, the importance of the x-ray quality, and the radiographic TB disease patterns in children.
Target Audience
This course is designed for allied health professionals, nurses, nurse practitioners, physicians, physician assistants, resident/fellows, and healthcare professionals working in a public healthcare setting.
Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:
- Recognize the characteristics of a normal pediatric chest x-ray.
- Recognize common radiographic findings in children with tuberculosis as well as common non-TB disease patterns.
- Develop strategies to navigate clinical and radiologic uncertainty.
