Mayo Clinic's Pulmonary Manifestations of Connective Tissue Disorders at the Ritz-Carlton in Orlando, Florida is a three-day CME course designed to provide pulmonologists, rheumatologists, internists and general practitioners up-to-date information on pulmonary manifestations of rheumatologic disorders. From this course, participants discern how to recognize and diagnose interstitial lung disease, pulmonary hypertension and other respiratory problems which are common in autoimmune rheumatologic disorders, and review the latest information regarding pathogenic mechanisms, clinical trials and therapeutic modalities. The speakers are nationally and internationally recognized specialists in the field. Residents and fellows have the opportunity to participate by submitting original studies for poster presentations.

Target Audience

This course is designed for pulmonologists, rheumatologists, primary care physicians and healthcare providers with an interest in pulmonary involvement of connective tissue disorders. The course will be available for any physician, physician in training or provider with no other prerequisites.

Rooms are reserved for attendees and their guests at the group rate starting at $269 per night plus applicable taxes. In order to receive the special rate, reservations must be made before the room block sells out or before the expiration date of September 14, 2021, whichever comes first. The resort has extended the group rate three days prior and three days after the course based on group room availability.

Rooms are limited so we do encourage early booking. 

Resort guestrooms will be subject to a daily resort fee discounted to $25.00 per room per night (currently $38 per room per night) in effect at the time of check in. This fee includes: complimentary general bandwidth in meeting space, enhanced in-room wireless internet for up to six devices, unlimited local and domestic long distance calls, daily bike rental through Grande Lakes Sports, transportation to SeaWorld, Universal Studios and Disney theme parks, driving range privileges, and daily recreational activities.

Cancellation and Refund Policy:

Request for cancellations must be submitted in writing to cme@mayo.edu. When cancelling a registration for a course 14 days or more before the course start date, a full refund (minus a $75 administrative fee) will be issued in the same form of payment the registration was received. No refunds are granted less than 14 days before the course start date.
