Quality Conference 2018 - The Needs of the Patient Come First: Keep Me Safe, Provide an Outstanding Experience, Deliver an Excellent Outcome

The annual Mayo Clinic Conference on Quality serves as an event to share among Mayo colleagues, stories and examples of process improvement, patient safety, and service to our patients (patient experience). The goal of the conference is thus to inspire and galvanize staff to engage in quality activities that improve the value that is provided to Mayo Clinic patients.
Target Audience
This course is designed for internal physicians, scientists, nurses, administrators, operations managers, and allied health care providers here at Mayo Clinic.
Learning Objectives
Upon conclusion of this program, participants should be able to:
- Identify tools and methods that can be used to identify and close quality gaps.
- Describe the environmental issues associated with a culture of quality and safety in health care.
- Give Examples on how patient-centered care can benefit all patients, family members and the organization.
