The Healthcare Executive Leadership Bootcamp is designed to prepare existing and emerging healthcare leaders for career advancement and to seize organizational and professional strategic opportunities. Intended to help healthcare professionals drive growth and success in their organizations, this two-day course will focus on leadership and organizational behavior, financial management, human resources, quality management and strategic management. Along with traditional didactic presentations, an emphasis on interactive learning in small groups using accelerated scenarios assists learners in developing leadership skills and making the transition from clinician to leader.

This course is designed for individuals transitioning into administrative, management, director, or executive leadership roles in healthcare. This includes clinicians, medical personnel, healthcare professionals, hospital administrators, department chairs, and vice presidents and C-suite executives.
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:
- Recognize the key roles and responsibilities of leaders in healthcare today
- Identify tools to be able to develop a comprehensive strategic plan that involves the right stakeholders and that aligns with an organization’s core mission and values
- Utilize the necessary tools to gain a firm grasp of an organization’s financial structure to effectively understand healthcare financing
- Gain insight into skills and attributes needed to lead and recognize the value of diversity in views and backgrounds
- Develop skills in the areas of strategic planning, quality management, healthcare financing and human resource management

Parking is available in multiple lots near the Cannaday Building at no charge, as well as in the Mayo patient/visitor ramp adjacent to the Davis Building on Mayo Boulevard at $5 per day on Friday and no charge on Saturday. The cost for parking is not included in the registration fee.
