The Mayo Clinic Leadership and Professional Development course is focused on strategies, healthcare business trends, literature, and testimonials on the transformational change of NP and PA utilization in leadership, education, research, innovation, and professional development. Topics will address learners of all career stages on insights and organizational models to cultivate a culture of career growth.
Target Audience
This course is designed for Physician Assistants, Nurse Practitioners, Nurses, Physicians, and Allied Health Professionals.
Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:
- Identify clear organizational structure, vision, and mission to foster leadership and professional growth in the workplace
- Describe how to improve the impact of diversity and inclusion in the workplace
- Demonstrate a leadership assessment tool to assist with promoting effective leadership styles
- Describe how to incorporate personal resilience strategies in professional environments

Location
Guest rooms have been reserved for attendees with a special course rate at the Radisson Blu Aqua Hotel, Chicago. In order to receive the special rate of $289/night plus tax, reservations must be made before the room block is filled or before the cut-off date of May 27, 2025, whichever comes first. After May 27, 2025, reservations will be taken on space and rate availability. The resort fee has been waived.
