Started in 2025, the Mayo Clinic Datathon is a two and a half-day immersive event that brings together multidisciplinary teams to develop innovative solutions using healthcare data. The event kicks off with two days dedicated to a Datathon competition, where teams comprising of healthcare professionals and experts from computer science, engineering, and mathematics collaborate to solve critical clinical problems using real-world datasets. The event concludes with a 1-day Data Summit, featuring keynote addresses, panel discussions, and workshops on AI, data sharing, and more.

Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:
- Collaborate effectively with AI and clinical experts to design and implement solutions addressing real-world healthcare challenges.
- Apply data inquiry and interrogation techniques to analyze and interpret datasets relevant to healthcare problems.
- Apply data inquiry and interrogation techniques to analyze datasets and develop data capture strategies that meet defined requirements.

A block of rooms at a special group rate of $195, plus applicable local and state taxes, per night, is available for course participants. To ensure accommodations, make your reservation before the room block fills or by March 19, 2026. This hotel is conveniently located next to Mayo Clinic Jacksonville. Please allow for time to travel to the conference held on the campus of the Mayo Clinic.

By attending the Mayo Clinic Datathon and Data Summit 2026 offered by Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science participants may earn up to 6.25 ACHE Qualifying Education Hours toward initial certification or recertification of the Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE) designation.
ANCC
Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science designates this activity for a maximum of 6.25 ANCC contact hours. Nurses should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
