Mayo Clinic Sports Performance Clinic (Optional Workshop - Fee Applies)

The Mayo Clinic Sports Performance Clinic will introduce research-based content presented by certified sports performance practitioners in an effort to further equip and engage active learners in the continued development of their performance knowledge base.

Target Audience

This CME symposium is designed for physicians, physical therapists, performance/fitness coaches, athletic trainers, chiropractors, and other practitioners who evaluate and treat athletes and other active populations.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Identify key exercise interventions used to address the early impairments following knee surgery.
  • Recall key education principles related to nutrition, to optimize post injury/surgery recovery.
  • Prescribe plyometric exercise in a progressive manner for those following knee surgery/injury.
