Mayo Sports Medicine: What's New to Keep Your Athletes of All Ages in the Game" is a quarterly CME opportunity designed for multidisciplinary sports medicine providers in Northeast Florida and the Southeastern United States. This course offers a platform to learn about the latest advancements in the diagnosis and treatment of sports-related conditions, with a focus on keeping athletes of all ages active and injury-free.Each session features expert insights from nonoperative physicians, orthopedic surgeons, and physical therapists, providing a comprehensive overview of current trends and innovative approaches in sports medicine. This quarter’s topic will focus on "ACL Injury, Treatment Options, and Rehabilitation." Participants will gain knowledge on cutting-edge diagnostic techniques, explore the latest treatment options, and understand best practices for rehabilitation to optimize patient outcomes and enhance athletic performance.
Target Audience
This course is designed for the PT, PTA, Allied Health, Physician, Athletic Trainer, PA, Resident/Fellow, Nurse, Scientist Researcher, Psychologist, Social Worker and Nurse Practitioner.
Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:
- Educate the healthcare professional of the basic rehabilitation guidelines for ACLR recovery,
- Share updates in rehab guidelines based on evidence in the literature,
- Discuss current prevention efforts
