Mayo Sports Medicine: What's new to keep your athletes of all ages in the game offers a quarterly opportunity for multidisciplinary sports medicine providers in Northeast Florida and the Southeastern United States to learn about new diagnostic and treatment options for sports-related conditions. We will cover new and recent topics on the sports medicine field. This quarterly CME opportunity will cover topics presented by nonoperative physicians, orthopedic surgeons, and physical therapist.

Target Audience

This course is designed for the PT, PTA, Allied Health, Physician, Athletic Trainer, PA, Resident/Fellow, Nurse, Scientist Researcher, Psychologist, Social Worker and Nurse Practitioner.

Learning Objectives

  • Analyze injury patterns prevalent in Olympic combat sports, focusing on disciplines like boxing, judo, and taekwondo
  • Develop proficiency in implementing effective management strategies tailored to the unique injury profiles identified in Olympic combat sports, with a specific emphasis on optimizing care for elite athletes engaged in boxing, judo, and taekwondo
