This three-day course provides attendees a multidisciplinary review of standard of care management practices and state-of-the-art advances in care of the patient with cutaneous malignancy, particularly melanoma, along with squamous cell and basal cell cancer. The first morning session focuses on epidemiology, prevention, pathology, surgical treatment, and advances in systemic therapy for patients with melanoma and squamous cell cancer. The first afternoon session focus on surgery, medical oncology, and introduction to dermoscopy. The last two days are an in-depth immersion into dermoscopy for evaluating skin diseases with a focus on neoplasms. Participants develop practical skills that will enable them to be more comfortable approaching patients with potentially dangerous skin lesions.

This course is designed to update physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants and other healthcare professionals practicing clinical gastroenterology and hepatology about new approaches to the diagnosis and management of gastrointestinal and liver diseases. Faculty present data on multiple topics including general gastroenterology, inflammatory bowel disease, colorectal neoplasia, esophageal diseases, motility, nutrition, pancreaticobiliary disorders, endoscopy and hepatology. The IBD symposium will focus on several aspects of the care of patients with IBD, including disease and adverse event monitoring, diet and nutritional recommendations for providers and patients, identifying and managing ileal pouch related disorders and dysplasia surveillance. This symposium will also include case discussions with experts on the role of combination therapy and therapeutic drug monitoring in routine IBD clinical care. Concurrent lunch breakout sessions offering an extensive review and discussion of clinical topics.
