Target Audience
This program is designed for healthcare professionals who provide comprehensive care across a wide range of clinical conditions encountered in primary care and general medicine practice. The content is particularly relevant for primary care physicians, family medicine physicians, internal medicine physicians, geriatricians, advanced practice providers (nurse practitioners and physician assistants), residents, fellows, nurses, pharmacists, and other allied health professionals seeking practical, evidence-based updates on the diagnosis and management of common and emerging medical conditions. The multidisciplinary curriculum addresses topics spanning infectious diseases, cardiology, pulmonology, gastroenterology, endocrinology, nephrology, neurology, women's health, oncology, dermatology, mental health, preventive medicine, and healthcare innovation, making it valuable for clinicians responsible for the ongoing care of adult patients in both outpatient and inpatient settings.
Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:
- Apply current (2027) evidence-based guidelines to the management of common chronic conditions, including cardiovascular disease, kidney disease, and rheumatologic conditions, to improve risk stratification and long-term outcomes.
- Implement best practices for the diagnosis and management of acute complaints seen in the outpatient and inpatient setting such as thromboembolic events, musculoskeletal injuries, and infections.
- Develop a systematic, guideline-concordant approach to gastrointestinal, gynecologic, and hematologic/oncologic disorders.
- Incorporate interprofessional, team-based strategies into the management of complex, multisystem conditions commonly encountered in generalist practice to enhance care coordination and patient outcomes.

Attendees may reserve accommodations at the Clearwater Beach Marriott Resort on Sand Key at the discounted group rate of $319 per night, plus applicable taxes, through March 5, 2027, or until the room block is sold out. A separate $35 daily resort fee (plus tax) applies and includes enhanced Wi-Fi, daily beach chair and umbrella rental for up to two guests, a two-hour bike rental for up to two guests, and a one-hour paddleboard or kayak rental for up to two guests per stay. Check-in begins at 4:00 p.m. and check-out is 11:00 a.m. Guests should make reservations through the course reservation link or by calling Marriott Reservations. Discounted self-parking is available for attendees at $15 per day; overnight self-parking is $25 per day and valet parking is $30 per day. Please note that the resort fee and parking charges are separate from the room rate and taxes. Reservations requested after the March 5, 2027 cutoff date will be based on hotel availability and may not qualify for the group rate.
