The 2027 annual CME course in Scottsdale, Arizona brings together primary care, family medicine, internal medicine physicians, pharmacists, advanced practice providers, and other healthcare professionals. Over four days, participants receive evidence-based updates and practical strategies for managing a broad range of conditions.
Target Audience
This course is designed for family medicine physicians, internal medicine physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, and pharmacists.
Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:
- Determine which patients require screening for metabolic associated steatotic liver disease
- Identify appropriate cardiac stress testing options
- Assess when continuous glucose monitoring benefits patients with diabetes
- Recognize the nomenclature change from polycystic ovary syndrome to polycystic ovarian morphology syndrome and its impact on patient care
- Describe options for managing depression in primary care beyond prescribing selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors
- Examine current recommendations for preventing injuries in middle-aged adults
- Review current updates in hypertension management
- Summarize clinical management recommendations for chronic kidney disease
Lodging
Rooms have been reserved for attendees and their guests at the DoubleTree Resort by Hilton Paradise Valley - Scottsdale for discounted rates starting at $284/night. In order to receive the special rates, reservations must be made before January 22, 2027, or before the room block fills.
Room reservations after are based on space and rate availability. Additional taxes and fees may apply.

Daily Resort Fee ($30):
The daily resort fee per room per night for all attendees staying at the resort includes the following:
- Guest internet access - up to 2 devices
- Unlimited local and 1-800 phone calls
- Two bottled waters provided in room each day
- Free dessert with purchase of an entree at Asadero Restaurant
- $15 Spa credit on services of one hour or more at the Dale Day Spa
- Lawn games in public spaces
- Overnight, self/valet parking
- 24-hour access to fitness center
- $10 golf credit
- Complimentary shuttle service to most destinations within a 2-mile radius
Travel
All travel and lodging expenses are the sole responsibility of the individual registrant. Mayo Clinic School of Continuous Professional Development is not responsible for expenses incurred by an individual who is not confirmed and for whom space is not available at the meeting. Costs incurred by the registration such as airline or hotel fees or penalties are the responsibility of the registrant.
