The geriatric-focused pre-course is a half-day session composed of geriatric topics delivered by hospital internists and palliative care physicians.

This course is designed for internists, hospitalists, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, advanced practice nurses, registered nurses and allied health from novice to experienced.
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:
- Describe delirium and identify risk factors for older adults.
- Identify current evidence based practice recommendations for geriatric medicine.
