Practice of Internal Medicine is a postgraduate course offering internists and primary care professionals a state-of-the-art update. Mayo Clinic faculty present lectures on common clinical problems across gastroenterology, infectious diseases, rheumatology, geriatrics, emergency medicine, cardiology, neurology, endocrinology, pulmonary, and women’s health.

Target Audience

This course is designed for general internists, internal medicine subspecialists, family medicine physicians, and other primary healthcare professionals.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Describe the current approach to diagnosis and treatment of MASLD.
  • Outline treatment options for Alzheimer’s Disease in 2026.
  • Advise patients on breast cancer screening, balancing risks and benefits and incorporating society guidelines.
