ABIM MOC Learning Module: 2022-2023 Update in Internal Medicine

Each Maintenance of Certification (MOC) Learning Session provides you with a collaborative environment to complete an ABIM Medical Knowledge module and earn MOC points. Led by ABIM Board Certified physicians, this interactive session allows you to work with your colleagues to develop answers to module questions. ABIM Board Certified physicians should submit their answers to ABIM for 10 MOC points and also claim CME credit once the Learning Session is completed.

 

COVID-19 Requirements and Guidelines

LIVE (in-person) attendees must comply with all live course requirements and guidelines and applicable state and local COVID-19 travel restrictions, guidance and resources.  

Please note that all live course attendees must: 

  • Complete COVID-19 testing of any kind and provide attestation that a negative test result was received within 72 hours or less of the event start date or provide attestation that you received any positive COVID-19 test result within the previous 90 days, that it has been at least 10 days since COVID-19 infection, and that you are currently asymptomatic. 

  • Attest that you will comply with all safety requirements and that you understand the inherent risk associated with being in large groups of people. 

  • Complete your attestation (Will open 72 hours prior to the course start date)

Attendees who are not able to complete the above attestations are unable to attend the live (in-person) event. 

Requirements and guidelines may be amended as CDC, public health and other relevant guidance are adjusted. 

 

Target Audience

Practicing general internists, family practice physicians, subspecialists, and advanced practice providers in need of practice updates.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Discuss recent updates in Internal Medicine
  • Apply updated knowledge to clinical practice
  • Complete the ABIM 2022-2023 Update in Internal Medicine module, which qualifies for MOC points from ABIM

After the Learning Session: Save your answers! You will need them to complete the web-based module available on your ABIM Physician Portal to earn MOC points. 

Complete the ABIM module online and submit your answers to ABIM for scoring and MOC points. You will receive scoring results and MOC points immediately.

Other Healthcare Professionals
A record of attendance will be provided to all registrants for requesting credits in accordance with state nursing boards, specialty societies or other professional associations.
