Abstract Session - January 4, 2027
As part of the Mayo Clinic Nephrology, Hypertension and Kidney Transplantation Update for the Clinician 2027, a Poster Session for presentation of original research and challenging cases dedicated to the fields of Nephrology, Hypertension, and Transplant will be held at this meeting. Accepted abstract recipients will be chosen from all abstracts received by the submission deadline. Registration is required for all presenters, and the presenting author must attend in person.
Target Audience
This symposium is intended for members of the nephrology community and will be of interest to nephrologists, nephrology trainees, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, internists, primary care physicians and other specialists who participate in the care of patients with kidney disorders and kidney and/or pancreas transplants.
Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:
- Integrate emerging evidence in glomerular disease management, including indications for newly approved and evolving therapies, to optimize patient selection and treatment outcomes.
- Apply genomic and precision medicine approaches in the evaluation of kidney diseases, including inherited nephropathies and tubular disorders, to improve diagnostic accuracy and individualized care.
- Evaluate the clinical applications of artificial intelligence in nephrology, including its role in research, hypertension management, and clinical decision support, to enhance risk stratification and patient care.
- Incorporate advances in kidney transplantation, including novel technologies and noninvasive methods for detection and monitoring of allograft rejection, into evidence-based transplant management strategies.
