The Mayo Clinic Quality Conference highlights best practices and innovations for healthcare quality improvement and patient experience. The annual conference serves as a celebration among Mayo Clinic colleagues to share stories and examples of process improvements that positively influence outcomes in patient safety, service, experience and equity for patients. The goal of the conference is thus to educate, inspire, and galvanize staff to engage in quality activities that improve the value provided to our patients.
We will be accepting abstracts for the 2023 Quality Conference. Proposals will be reviewed and confirmed on a first come, first serve basis. Submission deadline is March 17, 2023. You will be notified by April 10, 2023. Click the link to submit an abstract.
Target Audience
This course is designed for Physicians, NPPA's, nurses, researchers and allied health.
Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:
• Explain the impending demands on value-based healthcare as we approach 2030.
• Recognize how safety for all requires each of us to embrace a Culture of Safety.
• Describe the importance of promoting and measuring well-being and the subsequent consequences when implemented.
• Describe the approaches of synchronous and asynchronous remote patient care to ensure quality care.
• Identify that diversity, equity and inclusion applies in all aspects of healthcare.
