The first annual Mayo Clinic Robotics and Advanced Surgical Technologies symposium provides updates on many surgical and medical disciplines with a focus on robotics innovation. Highlights include robotic innovation in remote, rural hospitals and underserved regions of the globe that lack access to medical and surgical subspecialists. The symposium aims to bring together various scientific areas of expertise with the goal of advancing healthcare knowledge.

Target Audience

This symposium is intended for individuals in robotic societies, medical and surgical societies, national academies of science, engineering societies, medical societies, computer science in machine learning, as well as digital health and artificial intelligence. Physicians, surgeons, physician assistants, advanced registered nurse practitioners, emergency medical personnel, and engineers (mechanical, electrical, and biomedical) may find this symposium beneficial.
