23rd Annual Mayo Clinic Internal Medicine Update: Sedona 2021 is a four-day course offering primary care physicians, nurse practitioners and physician assistants a practical update on a variety of subspecialty topics, including atrial fibrillation, bias and behaviors, bio modulators, bioethics, breast cancer, chronic kidney disease, chronic liver disease, contraception, diabetes, heart failure, HIV, management of transgender patients, non-cancer prostate problems, non-myeloma plasma cell dyscrasias, occupational lung disease, osteoporosis, pain management, peripheral arterial disease, pulmonary update, quality improvement, screening for nutritional deficiencies, stroke, therapeutic use of CBD, tips for caregivers of patients with dementia, transitions of care and wound management.

There will be two sessions: October 14-17 and October 28-31, 2021. While the same 30-minute presentation topics will be included for both sessions, the faculty and order of presentations may vary. In addition to the didactic format for lectures, the program will include two daily question-and-answer sessions and audience participation is encouraged through the use of interactive keypads.

Syllabus: Your registration fee includes access to an e-syllabus. You can order a paper copy for $65 online during registration. (Due to printing deadlines, this option will not be available after September 21, 2021.)

Mayo Clinic's Internal Medicine Update is one of our most popular conferences and registration will fill very quickly. Space is limited to 250 participants, so we encourage you to register as soon as possible and before you make your travel arrangements.

LIVE (in-person) attendees must comply with all live course requirements and guidelines and applicable state and local COVID-19 travel restrictions, guidance and resources.  

Please note that LIVE course attendees must: 

• Provide proof of vaccination prior to event admission. You must be logged in to ce.mayo.edu to provide proof of vaccination. 
• Complete COVID-19 testing and provide attestation that a negative test result was received within 72 hours or less of the event start date or provide attestation that you received a lab-confirmed positive COVID-19 test result within the previous 90 days, that it has been at least 10 days since the positive test result, and that you are currently asymptomatic.  You must be logged in to ce.mayo.edu to complete your attestation. This form will be available on October 11, 2021.

Learners who do not fulfill the above requirements will be unable to attend the live (in-person) event. 

Requirements and guidelines may be amended as CDC, public health and other relevant guidance are adjusted.
