The Transplant AI Symposium is a forward-looking, multidisciplinary program focused on the application of artificial intelligence across the transplant continuum—from donor evaluation and organ allocation to post-transplant monitoring and long-term outcomes.  

This two-day symposium brings together clinicians, researchers, data scientists, and industry leaders to explore cutting-edge advancements in AI, including predictive modeling, multimodal data integration, digital biomarkers, and real-world clinical implementation.  

Participants will gain practical insights into integrating AI into clinical workflows, addressing ethical and equity considerations, and leveraging cross-industry expertise from leading technology organizations.

Through keynote presentations, focused sessions, and interactive discussions, attendees will be equipped to translate AI innovations into improved patient outcomes and more efficient, equitable transplant systems.

Abstract Session - Deadline December 11, 2026

As part of the Transplant AI Symposium 2027 dedicated to advancing artificial intelligence in transplantation, the presentation of original research addressing clinical innovation, data science, and emerging technologies across the transplant continuum will take place during the meeting. Accepted abstract recipients are notified by email after the submission deadline. Registration is required for all presenters, and the presenting author must attend in person.

Target Audience

This symposium is designed for transplant clinicians, researchers, data scientists, and industry leaders interested in applying artificial intelligence across the transplant continuum to improve patient outcomes, efficiency, and equity.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Describe current and emerging applications of artificial intelligence across the transplant continuum, including donor evaluation, organ allocation, and post-transplant care. 
  • Evaluate the strengths and limitations of AI tools, including issues related to bias, generalizability, and model performance. 
  • Identify opportunities to integrate AI into clinical workflows to improve transplant outcomes and operational efficiency. 
  • Apply principles of ethical and equitable AI use in transplant medicine, including addressing disparities in access and outcomes.
  • Develop strategies for multidisciplinary collaboration to implement AI-driven solutions within transplant programs.
